The Conferencing page gives instructions to join.
Please Note: You will not have access to the Host phone menu. See Dial In Version 2.
Call your toll-free number.
Press the # key (or 3).
Say or press the three-digit conference number.
If the account has a Secondary Mailbox, then the Host and Participants will need to press 1 or 2 to reach a mailbox before pressing # or 3 to join the Conference.
To access the Conference Host menu over the phone, join the Conference with the following instructions.
Call your toll-free number.
Press the star key and log in.
Say Join A Conference or press 27.
Say or press the three-digit conference number.
You will be prompted with the following options:
Invite a Party - Calls the Participant and invites them to the Conference. Options are Call My Contact, Dial A Phone Number, or Cancel.
Add a Party - Calls the Participant and add to the conference as soon as the phone is answered. Options are Call My Contact, Dial a Phone Number, or Cancel.
Return to the Conference - Adds you to the Conference.
Disconnect Party - Drops the most recently joined participant.
Start Recording/Stop Recording - Start or Stop Recording the Conference.
End the Conference - Drops All Participants.
Press the pound key twice while in the conference to return to the host menu.
Once logged into the CommuniKate web site click Conferencing. A Conference bridge is already set up for you that is immediately accessible and can be used for all toll-free conferences
Click the Call Participants button.
Type your Contact's name or a phone number, then press the Call Now button.
Kate will call your Participant and say, "You are invited to join a Conference call with (Name Recording). Please press 1 to join or hang up to reject.
Call the Host's toll-free number.
Press the # key (or 3) to Join a Conference.
Say or press the three-digit conference number.
If the account has a Secondary Mailbox, then Participants must press 1 or 2 to reach a mailbox before pressing # or 3 to join the Conference.
In this case, the instructions would be:
Call the Host's toll-free number.
Press 1 or 2 to reach the Host's Mailbox.
Press the # key (or 3) to Join a Conference.
Say or press the three-digit conference number.
Click the Email Invite button to send a Conference Invitation.
The Web Presentation option refers to the New Look Slide Viewer.
Please Note: The Invitation does not tell participants to press 1 or 2 first if the Host has a Secondary Mailbox. In this case, click the box called Other Conference System and type in the Conference Instructions.
Additional buttons are added when the Conference has Participants.
Start Recording - Start Recording the Conference. It will change to Stop Recording. A prompt plays to the Conference "Conference Recording Is Now On (Or Off)."
Mute All - Mute All Participants
Drop All - Drop All Participants
You can also Mute or Drop specific participants by clicking the Mute or Drop link.
If the participant's caller ID is listed for a contact in your account, then their name will display instead of Unknown Caller.
Accounts can have up to 10 Conference Numbers, so that conferences can be separated for billing or other purposes.
Click Conference Numbers in the left menu, then click Create new conference.
Click Recordings, then the Conference Date/Time
Conference recordings can be played from the Conference Recording Screen or shared via email as mp3 files.
Outbound Conference with a status of Connect/Accepted means that the Host Called the Participant from the web site and the participant joined.
Outbound Conference with a status of Connect means that the Host Called the Participant and they answered but hung up instead of joining.
Inbound Conference by Subscriber, after a Session, means that the Host logged into their account and then joined the Conference to have the Conference Host options.
