Contact Directory

Access CommuniKate Contacts

Add New Contacts, Edit Contact Info or add Current contacts to Distribution Lists.

Send a message to Subscriber Contacts or send e-mail to CommuniKate Contacts from your device.

CommuniKate Contact: Subscriber

Press the Microphone icon to send the contact a CommuniKate message.

Press the email icon to send the contact an e-mail from your device (NOT from Kate)

You cannot initiate a phone call to non-subscribers from the Android App like you can from the iPhone app.

CommuniKate Contact: Not a Subscriber

Edit Contact

To edit a contact, press the contact Name, then Edit.

Press Group to add the contact to an existing Contact List.

Press Delete Contact to remove the contact from your Directory. Deleted contacts cannot be restored.

Once your edits are complete, press Done.

Add A New Contact from the Contact Directory

Press the + sign at the top of the Contact Directory.

Start typing the CommuniKate Number.

When you click Done, if the CommuniKate number has only one mailbox, then the Name is automatically filled in.

Press Group to add the contact to an already existing Distribution list.

Enter any additional info, then press Done.

When you press Done, if the CommuniKate number has two mailboxes, then you will be prompted to add the Primary, Secondary or Both.

They are added as Separate contacts.

Please Note: If you choose Add Both, then you will need to Edit them individually to add more info.

Check the boxes for any Groups you would like the Contacts added to, then press Done.

Add A New Contact from a VM

If the voice mail is from a CommuniKate subscriber, then their name will be listed.

Press the Add Contact box next to the name.

The CommuniKate Number, Name, and Kate e-mail address will be filled in.

Add to a Group, or fill in additional info, then press Done.
