Mac Mail Email Set-Up

Below are the settings for adding your CommuniKate e-mail account to Mac Mail.

Click Mail, then Add Account. If this is the first time you've opened Mail, you will be automatically prompted to add an account. Click Other Mail Account.... Click Continue. Enter your Full Name, e-mail address, and password. Click Sign In.

Next to User Name, enter your full email address.

Next to Account Type, select IMAP. Next to Incoming Mail Server, enter mail.securekate.com Next to Outgoing Mail Server, enter mail.securekate.com Click Sign in. Click Done.

If you cannot send mail, please check the following settings: Click Mail, Preferences, then Accounts. Click Server Settings. Highlight your e-mail address in the left list.

Under Incoming Mail Server (IMAP) Username should show your full email address. Enter your email password. Host Name: mail.securekate.com Automatically manage connection settings should be unchecked. Port 993 for IMAP or 995 for POP3 Use SSL/TLS should be checked. Authentication should be set to Password.

Under Outgoing Server (SMTP) Username should show your full email address. Enter your email password Host Name: mail.securekate.com Automatically manage connection settings should be unchecked. Port 587 Use SSL/TLS should be checked. Authentication should be set to Password.

Click Save.
