# Name Recording

The name recording is what people hear a) when you send a message, or b) what your caller hears when Kate answers. This recording can be up to 5 seconds in length. To change your name recording, tell Kate "Set My Personal Options" (Touchtone 40) and then "Change Name Recording" (Touchtone 42).

You can also restore the Kate Default Name Recording by saying "Restore Default" or touchtone 4 from the Change Name Recording menu.
